The 10 acre site is set in peaceful, picturesque West Wight, with the main part of the site being close mown grass with approx 2 acres left long as a dog exercise area, we have recently purchased an adjacent 5 acres that has proved popular with extra large family tents and caravan rallies who need “their own space”.
There are two large
grassed areas directly in front of the chalets, ideal for children to
play safely whilst easily being watched from chalets or caravans. The
children have a separate play area with swings, slide, sandpit, playhouse
etc.
The indoor swimming
pool is 18m x 9m and heated from May to October, it has a separated area
with tables and seating for spectators. The pool is open 7 days a week
and is free to anyone staying on site. Persons staying on site are
welcome to have friends use the pool at the prices displayed on the
door.
Mountain bikers
can keep bikes in their chalets or we can provide locked storage in our
workshop. Cleaning and maintenance facilities for bikes are available
on request.
The launderette has
washing machines, tumble dryers and free spin drying and ironing facilities
with a separate room for drying wet outdoor clothing and boots. This room
is normally locked with a key available on request.
Surfers can have a hose
provided for board and equipment cleaning and can keep boards in chalets
or we can provide locked storage.
All B&B rooms have their own en-suite toilet, shower and washbasin, tea & coffee making facilities are supplied and refreshed daily. A full English breakfast or simple toast, fruit juice and cereals are served during the season; individuals, families and groups can be catered for. The rooms have colour TV, dressing table, wardrobe and a mix of either 2 or 3 single beds or double bed and a single bed. The family room has a double bed and bunk beds.

Self
catering chalets have a fully equipped kitchen/dining
room with electric cooker, fridge, radio, crockery, cutlery and all the
usual cooking equipment. The separate living room has colour TV, settee,
chairs etc. All bed linen is provided but we do ask that you bring your
own towels. Electricity is supplied via a �1.00 coin meter, there is
electric heating throughout. High chairs and push chairs for
babies/toddlers are available by prior arrangement.
Campers and Caravanners
are welcome to use their own barbeques or the barbeque area provided on
site, there is a kitchen provided for their use with cooker, fridge-freezer
and washing-up sinks, there are ample toilets and free hot showers at
all times.
The site reception/breakfast room has a small shop stocking ice cream, toys, souvenirs, sweets and basic necessities. Daily papers, general stores and a post office are nearby in Brighstone village, which is 1 mile away. A freezer pack service is available and for caravanners and campers not using hook-ups, a battery charging service is also available.
