Centre is set in the West Wight amongst some of the most picturesque scenery
the Isle of Wight has to offer. </font></p>
<p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">Perfect for walking
holidays, surfers or mountain bikers, we are a short drive from Compton
Bay offering some of the best surfing on the Island. While playing golf
at the nearby Freshwater course, some of the best views of the West Wight
can be seen. </font></p>
<p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">West Wight has very
little light pollution, making it ideal for astronomy weekends whilst
the glorious sunsets will inspire painting and photography by all ages
and skill levels.<br clear="all">

coastline at Brook and Compton is famous for its preserved dinosaur footprints.
At the bottom of our site is the coastal walk which offers perfect access
for beaches, geology studies, dinosaur remains etc.</font></p>

and mackerel in the summer can be rewarding, especially when cooked on
the barbeque afterwards.</font></p>
